Endo Dubai 2026 (update)

Endo Dubai 2026 is probably the most important meeting in the field of endometriosis today and one of the few truly outstanding global references. I had the privilege of being appointed President of the meeting and of delivering the Opening Ceremony keynote lecture, “Video Endoscopy: A Movie History from Cinema to Laparoscopy”, among other responsibilities, during the 11th Congress of EndoDubai.

The congress took place from February 5th to 7th, under the inspiring motto “Behind Surgical Boundaries, Creating Excellence in Surgery”—both an invitation and a commitment. It challenged us to transcend limits not only of anatomy or technique, but also of mindset: to question the invisible lines we have long accepted as fixed—between disciplines, between surgeon and patient, and between science and art.

The mission was accomplished. Beyond its scientific excellence, the meeting offered a remarkable opportunity to connect with colleagues from all over the world, sharing experiences, knowledge, and, above all, genuine friendship.

My sincere congratulations to the entire EndoDubai team, and a special and heartfelt acknowledgement to Arnaud Wattiez, a generous host and a close companion on a shared journey spanning decades. As a symbol of this enduring friendship, he offered me a very special gift: the continuity of shared science and mutual complicity.

For me, it was a true honor to serve as President of the 11th EndoDubai Edition 2026.
